Polish pottery and dog walking

You might be seeing more posts in the future saying we walked at Willsmere.

Why, you might ask. (Or you might not.)

It's because a new shop has opened in the vicinity of the park, just at the right distance for the humans to have some afternoon tea or a light meal before or after our walk. How convenient!

It's The Cup and Mug, selling gorgeous pottery from Poland, including the lovely dinner dish Penny eats from every day.

We have bowls too. Here's one of them.

A friend and I were talking about how, once your reach A CERTAIN AGE, you see wonderful things that you KNOW your friends would like but you also know, because they are also a CERTAIN AGE, that they will probably have all the wonderful teapots or salad bowls that they want, so you can't buy these magnificent presents for them - despite the fact that they are beautiful.

Mitch and Molly, it's a great size, because it's rather small, which makes Penny's dinner look bigger, lol.

Mary, can one ever have too many lovely things? Hmm...maybe the answer is yes.

Hi, Kari, thanks for the visit to my blog. I came over to yours and saw that great food you cooked up from the salmon you caught. Alaskan fishing must be so rewarding.
